The particular feature of the Open Diversified Unit Investment Fund Index Premium Fund is its portfolio containing only investments in the shares of Ukrainian companies included in the PFTS basket.
The PFTS index is based on 20 companies with the highest liquidity and reliability, namely: OJSC Zapadenergo, OJSC Mariupol Metallurgical Works named after Illich, OJSC Tsentroenergo, OJSC Ukrtelecom, OJSC Ukrnafta, OJSC INTERPIPE Nyzhniodniprovsky Pipe Rolling Mill, etc. This index reflects the dynamics of the market as a whole. The share of each security included in the stock portfolio of ODUIF Index Premium Fund follows the share of such stocks in the PFTS index basket.
Thus, the movement of the value of the fund’s share portfolio follows the movement of the stock market, both in its rise and decline. Building the stock portfolio so that it follows the PFTS index basket ensures investment transparency and low-cost profile management. The presence of the bond component within the investment structure smoothes the fluctuations of the stock portfolio's market value during periods of high market volatility.
